JANUARY 24, 1937 – AUGUST 5, 2026
Peter Sr. will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather—steadfast in his care for those closest to him, and deeply cherished in return. Throughout his life, he carried himself with a quiet honesty that earned trust and respect as well as with a hard-working spirit that showed in the constancy with which he met each day and each responsibility.
As the leader of William H. Kopke Jr. Inc., Peter Sr. guided the company by example, forming lasting friendships all over the world. Indeed, the late executive surrounded himself with friends and family during his life journey in the fresh produce business. He generously shared his knowledge, time, experience, and resources with others as he leaves behind a lasting legacy.
Peter’s friends and family are proud to say that he was loved, admired, and respected. A true original—a one-of-one, as the saying goes—he will be deeply missed by the countless people whose lives he touched.
